Do you think that despite this book being a bit cliched that I should ignore the vampire stuff, because it does contain some profound statements about humanity? Or am I giving it too much credit there..?
I think this book has plenty of value. I must have been tired when I wrote this post as I haven't said much about it. It's very much the story about one man who gives his life to save the human race. It's also got some very creepy elements to it which satisfied my lust for horror. It is probably one of Matheson's best works, I've been very disappointment with some of his novels recently - notably Somewhere in Time.
